Daily Prompt: Echo

There are just some little moments in your life which take you by surprise. Blow a breath of fresh air,take you up by storm or induce a calm so serene,you never even wish a whisper to muddle it. And when this moment comes out of nowhere,in the midst of dusty lands,in the middle of a crowded street,besides the kitchen top,laughing at a silly joke just by looking at this one person,know that you’re lucky.

Looking at this one person ignites and rages a fire so intense inside you,that you experience the collision of galaxies but also hear the calmness of a river flowing besides you in a no-man’s land at the same time. That person makes you want to dream,fly,color,imagine and let loose all inhibitions that bind you down. It is something rare and inestimable. And when you find this feeling,and you find this person,you reach out and hold it in both your hands and make a wish to let it help you soar above forever. Perhaps all the sparkles and glitters and magic were meant to be.

Everything about them leaves you in awe. The tiny dance their eyebrows do,the sparkle in their eye when they talk of something they love,the frown that rests upon their brow when things don’t go their way and the blissful peal of laughter that illuminates their face more than the sun. It’s all you ever want. To build and to grow with this person,to forget where they start and where you end,for them to light up your night sky with their shine and to cherish them for as long as you shall live.

Legends tell us,that Zeus made all humans have 4 arms,4 legs and a double torso. But seemingly made too powerful,he decided to rip them apart and now all our lives,we wish to search for this other half of ours. Is that true? If somebody comes to your mind when you read this,it perhaps is.

An when you do find a love this pure,the earth resonates and echoes it with all it’s might and turns it into a song that is left for generations to hear and cherish.
